Who are we?

Establishment

AADLC was registered in Tanzania under NGOs Act no 24 of 2002 in March, 2016. It was created by the African Development Learning Centers in the Global Development Learning Network-GDLN. It represents the common interests of the African DLCs as they become independent providers of training and capacity building programs using telecommunications and other technologies. Currently has the following members

Our Objectives

Objective

To coordinate a regional approach of negotiation with the Global Development Learning Network, with the service providers, suppliers of equipment and other partners; to promote a certain ethics of management and training (to take care on the contents of quality and the good standards of management).

To promote indigenous contents of training; to promote the building capacities of its members; to contribute to the access to the grouped financings of the Development Learning Centre’s.

To promote establishment of networks of innovative institutions of Development learning seeking excellence in developing Africa’s capacitive.

To fight poverty and to promote developing skills and competencies for the public and private sector, civil society, academics for the delivery of best quality standard services through cost effective Development learning using cutting-edge technology.

To support the best experience sharing between the members, to widen the network and to carry out benchmarking; to make the lobbying for the defense of its members.

To ensure the conditions of success of the Development Learning Centres, future of the Development Learning Centres as well on the technological level as in the field of the contents of the training.
